Beginner Driving Course – Light Vehicle (Category B): 14 Hours
Learn to drive and prepare for the driving license exam with experienced instructors. We offer both male and female instructors, and students may choose their preferred instructor and schedule. The available time slots are:
1. Morning Sessions:
– 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
– 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
2. Afternoon Sessions:
– 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
– 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Course Details:
1. Training is conducted using manual transmission vehicles.
2. Automatic transmission lessons are also available, charged per hour.
Student Qualifications:
The Department of Vehicle Management and Driving has established the following qualifications for applicants: Must be at least 18 years old Must pass a basic physical fitness test, which is conducted using specific procedures and criteria The basic physical fitness test consists of four steps (details provided during registration).
1. Foot Reaction Test (Braking Response Ability)
This test measures the ability to use the foot brake. The student must press the foot brake 3 times within a period of 0.75 seconds or less.
If the student can successfully complete the task at least 2 out of 3 attempts, they are considered to have passed the test.
2. Peripheral Vision Test
This test assesses the width of the applicant’s peripheral (side) vision.
If the applicant is able to clearly see objects on both the left and right sides at an angle of at least 75 degrees in 2 out of 3 attempts, they are considered to have passed the test.
3. Depth Perception Test
This test evaluates the applicant’s ability to perceive depth at a distance of 2.5 to 3.5 meters.
The test is conducted 3 times. If the deviation from the designated target point is no more than 1 inch in at least 2 out of 3 attempts, the applicant is considered to have passed the test.
4. Color Blindness Test
The applicant is required to identify the colors green, red, and yellow using a color vision testing machine or test plates, viewed from a distance of no less than 3 meters.
The examiner will ask the applicant to identify each color three times. If the applicant correctly identifies the color at least two out of three times, they are considered to have passed the test.
